What is Lockout/Tag out

Lockout is defined as Control of Hazardous Energy by Lockout and indicated by Tagout. As the placement of a lockout device on a machine or a devise. The energy-isolating device can be a manually operated disconnect switch, a circuit breaker, a line valve, or a block.
